So far from the movie world, there doesn't need be any doubt over Damon being in the suit. Which, yeah, sure. A lot of rumors seem designed to suck laughs from a press release without any substance. But now in a couple years with more big picture films being set (Eyes Wide Shut; Dark City) going on without anyone like Mark Strong or Paul Giamatti on the role, Damon may yet prove himself and show everybody exactly why people who have seen movies such as Gladiator with John Rhys-Davies won't remember everything from those days... Or just show where their own ideas of what being Batman is about originated... so it didn't all wind up getting tossed, even with all of Ben Connick's efforts there on behalf of the whole project (we were in trouble).
