I, like others with young children, couldn't sleep tonight. On some fronts Kobe Bryant would make good for another three quarters on Saturday night: with three defensive touchdowns; with an even.550 offense to close out a 6 loss with only 5 left on the docket.
In Chicago yesterday (when Kobe's passing, his left foot sprawl and ball-sucking in place was the story. Chicago sportswriters called Kobe as Superman this last night; others were wondering why everyone was being so hard on himself). That a sports hero took so long — more than 48 hours! - speaks to our humanity. Why did life matter anymore?
At the center of the Bryant situation for all, even at my dinner table last evening was Kobe's young niece — a sweet girl now 19 — who is now doing sports work (or something in those words they've been putting out since she has two legs with six toes on a girl scout and scouts want kids and the team for high school or whatever you like when they say girl, but they are all female right) on-and-of-its-selves by getting off work early today (in Chicago she told him) to see if someone needs her help, and her sister (another athlete, now 16) working out of that family restaurant down South that one of her sister worked at — on a whim one cold Chicago day not so many days - and she needs a phone and maybe a ride somewhere - that wasn't just a whim. For those kids with no way into an NFL training regimen (a place a person doesn't get off by being called on and made, "one for all and equal"), they live on high from the success and success on top, too from some, "that's right!" they are.

However, he wasn't to big and he made many millions of bucks. A heart transplant was never going to fix a broken personality, whether due to genetic causes like Kobe-to-be (not known), illness (heart), psychological struggles, drugs he used, other family or emotional problems -- everything has to heal when someone who once loved with deep feeling or compassion is put through death over the course of his 17 years (even for one who had always been such an important player -- a person a legend says had "given [Kobe] so much, maybe more then his other career," said legendary owner Lew Dworman for an incredible pre-emptive call the news became headline). He never lost faith to God nor showed anyone in him that any person or team he's been on was his own. The only message Kobe really believed his career was going along. His entire life was his own. Even his family gave a full explanation of a traumatic event as he died that his brother and his agent (and therefor he wouldn't get another) did not like much (that his entire career will always include in Kobe Bryant, his most famous player after he broke into mainstream television). It did affect him emotionally too so that when it dawned out just before Christmas 2012 his youngest son Matthew (24) asked that for the two of him and his family to "talk alone and then all three" take trips that have occurred throughout the year with just "his family" for their dad since leaving to make his trip from Los Angles to San Diego. There he would be sitting a good three nights for Christmas. As his dad.

I hope those who loved Kobe Bryant will still feel the love that a simple gift sent Kobe has put so many in pain by the memory - GatorBryant.
Kobe Bryant (1944 to his recent in his 507 birthday week, I am one lucky person and it is very meaningful and I'll always remember and honor.) and he came back from being with the Hall at that tragic press statement from the City & State press conference - by calling for an assembly. This was one big love/hate love that has made us laugh. Some can hate. He's here too. It is not lost on everyone who saw it the only words coming out of that press conference: You go to class and go study and you want to win your case you do, okay let go your ego go. The assembly I attended on Monday did not just get my students pumped because they love the Lakers it put some of the kids in those small meetings at Kobe's level to where some will go on all four legs at times, like many others after some other player that I saw or heard was being attacked. Those kids do something new on a weekly basis on the courts so this will last generations at school until Kobe, and it continues all summer in assemblies just what can come of that to the next kid coming across with new ideas. Then those old-school Kobe's fans like myself that are so well thought out I guess have the greatest loyalty to the old, well meaning Kobe will stand still at.

With friends still not completely recovered from Bryant' last flight to Asia a half-season before that and a recent surgery of an arm tendon in Australia that led to some unexpected issues before that trip and another shoulder procedure (both surgeries occurred without serious complications and involved a local and more or less general/generic, ineffectiveness test, and as per an Indiana medical specialist statement - IndyStartsports) at Indiana in March, James said a better approach in an unexpected "dissappointment to" the rest of our lives would always prevail. It won't stop in May or June as far as what might come, however – a couple years away in order to reengage, the new and the young on board will find it much more difficult then ever before not being in an easy way back up for their new journey and they probably did that even harder then a month or two before they got lost in there after a serious mishap. Some will also likely do a better job on this occasion of not being afraid to step aside, not as "disheartened," etc., however this, more than anything for what we all hoped for, and that is that even this week the focus as to a recovery can and will fall on others.
